Argyle Pink Colored Diamond 

Pink diamonds have been highly valued since they were first discovered in Western Australia in 1983. These diamonds are extremely rare, with less than 1% of the 15 million carats of rough diamonds produced annually by the Argyle Diamond Mine being pink. The Argyle Diamond Mine was responsible for over 90% of the world's pink diamond supply. However, the mine has now closed, and there is no known consistent source of diamonds that match the unique spectrum of Argyle diamonds.
